Cancer. Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland, just
below the centre of the brain, in response to darkness. It is responsible for the body's circadian
rhythm; the daily rhythm of sleeping and waking. Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant that
blocks the damaging and sometimes cancer-causing effects of free-radicals in
the body. There are also claims that
melatonin can reduce the toxic effects of radiation therapy and chemotherapy.

enough air reaches the lungs, this includes sleep apnea.

in breathing or periods of abnormally low breathing during sleep. It is an increasingly common condition that
can lead to high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, stroke, arrhythmia

Cancer. I often hear people say that everything causes cancer these days.
Unfortunately, there is some
truth in that statement and a lot of the information we are given is contradictory. For example, too much sun
causes melanoma, not enough sun causes vitamin D deficiency which has been
linked to several other types of cancer, including skin cancer.

Cancer.
Most of us know someone who has cancer, who has had cancer,
died of cancer or we have had it ourselves.
It is now ubiquitous in our society but people are still unaware of
their many treatment options.
There are a lot of different opinions and approaches to
cancer. I am a big believer in
alternative therapies and in my years of work in natural health I have had the
opportunity to witness several seemingly miraculous recoveries. What I have learned from this is that no two
cancer cases are alike. What works
wonders for one person may do next to nothing for another.
